Terrible Case of "I Want its"

But sadly, as I tweeted yesterday, the "can't have its" are in the house at the same time.

UGG.

So I thought I would do the next best thing and just share some things on the top of my list with you because maybe you have kicked the "can't have its" to the curb, and might be interested.

First, I know where this all stems from, happens everytime I get back from CHA.  It is like a 5 year old forced to walk FAO Schwartz and just "look" TORTURE!!!  So yes, tons of new products from there are on my list but, thanks to this adorable and talented girl, Amy Tangerine, that I actually got to meet in person finally, I want this something fierce:

its the ipad 2 mate from ZAGG

Amy had this set up in her section of the American Crafts boutique.  She had a photo booth and an app hooked up to it so you could get your photo with her, e-mail, tweet, or facebook it complete with her logo overlaid, right from this little guy set up to her ipad!  I LOVED it.  Here is our pic together.

 And for someone with fat stubby fingers like me who always hits the wrong key on screen, it is a dream.  You can even get it covered with a custom skin.  Amy had one of her new paper designs covering hers, it was just the coolest!

My next "I want it" is sort of scrap related as well, thanks to one of my fave girlie's Liz Kartchner.  If you follow Liz she always has projects done with the coolest little credit card size polaroids.  And she raves about this baby that she gets them from:

and then there is this:

the wireless Wacom tablet.  With all of the graphic designing I have been doing for paperlife printables this is calling my name.  I have and use the bamboo but, feeling I need to step it up a notch.

Man this list makes me feel geeked out!

Sale....BIG BIG Sale

Hi, back from CHA and hope to get lots of pictures up for you during the week.  Speaking of this week, it is going to be a whirlwind.  As all of you know now, I will be hosting my own show on the My Craft Channel network called 'Your Paperlife with Amy Coon'  And I fly to Salt Lake to tape all 12 of my episodes next Sunday night.

After being gone all last week.

A couple of surprise deadlines that were handed to me this week.

and

keeping up with the Coonkids schedule.

I have no idea when I am going to put together and pack 12 outfits and accessories, let alone show notes, projects, nails done, and packing the Coonkids for G'ma's for the week.  Along with so many other things I can't even write them!  Hee Hee

But, you know what, I am so fortunate to get this opportunity and am thankful for everything I have so no complaining just survival mode in overdrive.

I CAN DO IT!

Enough about that, lets do something fun to add to my craziness!

We have completely slashed the prices for the paperlife printables store! Yes, I mean slash.

We are calling it the end of summer "Hot Slash" sale because it is so dang hot, Paperlife printables have been a huge success so far, and I feel a little hormonally crazy at this point!  LOL!  We are also getting ready to introduce a brand new late summer/early fall collection and wanted to give you a deal on our amazing summer stuff before that happens.  All the prices in the store have been updated to reflect the sale and its a good one!

My Craft Channel......Am I Dreaming?

have you heard about ‘My Craft Channel’? …… it’s all the buzz, especially here at CHA, I have just had to smile with that glitter in my eye when people here are talking about it. They have been announcing the fall line-up of creative and crafty and totally inspiring HOSTS that will be involved with this one of a kind web ‘TV’ channel, Teresa Collins, Stacy Julian, Heidi Swapp, to name a few and unbelievably........

                           ME!!!!!

If you love watching Ustream shows, and you are addicted to quick YouTube and Vimeo ‘how-tos’ and even HGTV… this will be the best of both worlds, but done on a  much more ‘professional’ and beautiful way! “broadcast quality” is how it’s best described. I mean, I leave for Utah to tape all 12 of my episodes in a STUDIO! next week.

I am SO excited, because I LOVE the possibilities and what it will bring to so many people's Paperlives!  Video just gives you a whole new dimension in sharing… you can SHOW, you can talk, you can CONNECT! I have been doing it for a long time, and now on this whole new platform, I am going back to where I started, the paperlife interviews but, live and in person and all while doing a craft for you from my guests paperlife!!!  I am so excited!

 I will bring you, my, and my fellow inspiring crafters very best ideas, and loads of inspiration!  Plus, because you know how I role, it will be REAL and FUN!! 

 

Now the big, huge website launches toward the end of summer, but for now, you can read all about who is involved, exactly WHAT it is, and watch all the WHO’s who’s on the My Craft Channel BLOG!  As they are unveiling all the HOSTS, they are also giving away 20 Cricuts in 20 days… you gotta LOVE that !! What's Amy Doing For CHA?

Hi!!  writing this in a flash and a blur so forgive the typos and grammar.

For all of you that are asking, YES!  I am going to CHA, and I have a press pass.

Now, with the paperlife's new adventures I have meetings out the ying yang too so, I will not be doing it all fancy and scheduled and edited and fluffy on you tube like before.

First PL Freebie Time

ok added a new section to the paperlife yesterday.

This first Freebie I designed because journaling strips are my go to I stick, staple, and sew them on!

Country Estate 3-Fold Card

I was in a craft store the other day when I was home on the farm and I saw this card.  I just loved the 3 way fold that had been done on it.  So, last night I recreated my version of it with the Country Estate Line.

A Summer Note

Isn't it FUN!

I will be sending this one to my grandma with some fun summer pictures of the Coonkids. 

It has 3 different flaps that open, I tried to get an angle to show that:

The back flap is glimmer misted with Santa Baby.

See, there is quite a bit of space to write about our summer adventures.  Let me know what you think, and if you want I can do a little video tut. on it.

The medallions are from the Country Estate Banner kit collection and they were printed at a 5x7 size to fit the card, instead of the 8.5x11.  Yet another reason I love printables, you get so many customizable options in one file!  I took these from the original mantel size to a card size!  LOVE THAT!!!
