Happy Monday Paperlifers!!
I had a great weekend on our family farm. A lot of back porch sitting, a little fishing, and basically just hanging out with the kids and family. My kids love the farm and we try to get down there every chance we get. My Dad and Brother were really busy this weekend getting the crops planted for the season. Tucker loves being down there when all this is going on, and seeing all the big machinery coming in and out. Fun times for a 7 years old little boy.
I always think about my best friend, asking Tucker what he wanted to be when he grew up, one morning, when she was hanging out with my kids. And Tucker, without skipping a beat, said "a farmer", the look on my friends face was priceless, and she said "wow, you don't hear kids give you that answer in Utah, they usually say doctor or policeman!" LOL! We midwesterners are unique.
I hope you all had a great weekend to and spent time with the favorite mom figures in your life! Nothing better in life than a mom. No matter what shape she happens to come in in your life.
And wow, (inter)national scrapbook day was Saturday! Hope you were able to celebrate and get lots of creativity flowing on that day. I have to confess it was not the best scrapbook day for me. I woke up that morning to the news my local scrapbook store would be closing. Scrapbook Friendz has been so wonderful to me, and the Paperlife, it breaks my heart and puts a big whole in my world. Don't know what this will mean for me in my personal scrapbooking life now. So hard to get the unique scrapping items I tend to love, except for stores like that. I am in denial phase right now though, so I can't even think about it. Sad day around here.
I also got to put on my photographer hat this weekend and shoot little Levi's 3 month pictures. He is the sweetest little guy and look at the big smiles he gave me.
and how sweet is this?
and this is his daddy and big sis Livi. She is HILARIOUS but, quick you gotta be on your toes to get her pic but, I love the story these two shots tell.
I just love little kids, all of life is an adventure to them.
Ok, on the menu for tomorrow is something fun I have been wanting to share since last October, so be sure to come visit us tomorrow and check that out. And, Life Journaling starts on Sunday, which means this is the last week you can get a seat at $10 off the price so $30 instead of $40!! So don't miss that! I am so excited to share it with you all and see what kind of life journal you put together with the information!!
Big Hugs.
I gotta go enjoy this beautiful spring sunshine!!
See you tomorrow.
