FTC Disclosure ie techy stuff

  • disclosure:
The Paperlife wants you to be aware we DO proudly accept, welcome, and selectively use scrapbook industry products and services for giveaways, use, and review. Our philosophy behind this is that, we could in no way shape or form be able to expose our readers to all there is to offer them, in the craft world, without the help of others in this industry. And it alleviates our own "tastes" and "style" getting in the way of promoting what we may only purchase or need ourselves. In the event we personally do not purchase or receive something, by no means makes a product of a different style from ours unworthy, or invaluable. Therefore, it is our feeling that in order to make the paperlife the most diverse and beneficial papercrafting site it can be, we will gladly accept and support the help of others within this fantastic industry, when applicable, and in turn better expose this industry to YOUR Paperlives. In the opinion of the paperlife, as long as a product or service is used by YOU to celebrate YOUR memories in YOUR paperlife it is considered valuable to us. We try to always be completely honest and transparent in our views. But remember, they are just that, the views of the Paperlife, we stand by them, but, please always keep that in mind when deciding anything for yourself. Ok, there, we did what they asked us to do, are we cool FTC? LOL! ....any questions e-mail me at acs1174@aol.com.

I can't wait to see all the inspiration! I've had the itch to redo mine and would love some ideas!

Charla Marion Pavlik

I know exactly what my dream space would look like, It would have tall tall ceilings, and tall large windows that looked out into a wonderful garden or preferrably a lake, or mountains, but since I am in Texas and I don't think I will ever leave here, I am going to go for a lake or garden. I probably would have to win a lottery, but in my small space right now, I am making the most of it. It once was my front living room, but no one was living in it, it was just there with my old baby grand piano and chairs and armoire, now....my broken piano is used as a studio table holding books, paintbrushes, stencils, candles, and music for collages.... hopefully one day I can take out the inside and have flat papers stored there, maybe even add storage underneath as well, (the piano wasn't worked in some time) It is now officially my studio, a bit strange when people first walk in see a studio instead of a living room, but it truly now is a LIVING room, a living studio space...............charla

Amy, congrats on having your space featured in this special issue! That's awesome, and I can't wait to see it!

I am currently trying to get my space all in order, but if I had the money to do it, my dream would be to have someone come in and create me a beautiful space professionally... with my supervision of course, lol! ;)

Thanks for a chance to win a copy and congrats again!

Dawn W.

I am always so inspired by seeing the spaces of other creative folks (would love to see yours, Amy!) Thanks for all you do on the paperlife and thanks for the chance to win a great giveaway! My dream space would be like one a saw a picture of somewhere. It was a actually a little freestanding "cottage" so to speak in the backyard, deocorated adorably and such a cool "getaway".

Amy

I picked up my copy last night and yes I love your space Amy! There are some great ideas in there for you space you need to check it out!

Tina Phillips

My dream space? Someplace with a door that locks, no phone and soundproof walls so I don't hear the kids yelling "MOMMMMMMMMM" every five minutes!! I am certain I would gets LOTS more creating done this way :)

But sadly, yeah.....I'm dreamin!!!

julie

I am currently working on my scrap room...lots of storage, an island desk, a fun set of lockers & a cute white chandelier (happy mother's day to me!) :) can't wait to check out this issue!

Renee J.

Oh, Amy, congrats on being featured. My daughter and I are working on our scrap space. I would really love to have a bit more room; that would be just perfect. However, we are grateful for what we have! I can't wait to see this issue, wink!

Amanda

I'm currently working on designing my scrap space. I'm envisioning gray walls with white furniture (desk/shelves) and blue accents. I want TONS of storage (think shelves, cubbies and drawers) and a long uninterupted work space. I would love to get my hands on a copy of this!

jody

If our house ever sells, I will finally have a scrap room of my own in our new house. I totally have it planned in my mind...cream walls with teal and hot pink accents, a white desk and shelving, and a place for everything!

Millie

Congratulations!! I can't wait to see your space!
I do have a studio space that I love and it is pretty big but it can always be bigger!! The wish I have is for natural light. I agree with the reader who said that her room would have high ceilings and lots of windows!!! I would like for my space to be upstairs so I am in the trees and to have windows so large they can be opened and used as a door to get out to an outdoor balcony. I do like the idea of a light color walls, vanilla, light light blue or barely there gray, then several cabinets that I can close so that when I am done I close the cabinet and I won't be embarrassed for another person to walk in my studio. I would also have an inspiration artwork board up that I can add to over and over so that I always have ideas. A comfortable place to sit and have tea with a visiting artist and a stereo to play my music would also add to my room…. Maybe even a little frig to hold my decaf Diet Coke. Finally a grungy easel and a large farmhouse table to use as my creation space!!!

Jessica Canham

My dream space would be furnished with Pottery Barn furniture, more tables and shelves, and more space!

Ruth

my dream space has storage storage everywhere, magical storage that both looks neat and tidied away, yet keeps everything at my fingertips, also self-tidying!

Barb in CA

What crafter doesn't have a "dream" craft room whirling in their minds? Mine is always a larger space with more top space for spreading out, tons of drawers and jars for embellishments/stamps, book cases, and floor to ceiling shelves to store machines, supplies, and papers (neatly organized in black boxes and baskets). Colors would be lime walls, cream wood furniture, lime/black print upholstered chairs and little touches of black accents (including a black crystal chandelier). I would have separate work areas for my varied interests. I could go on and on!

Natasha W

What a wonderful idea to do a magazine about creative spaces because who doesn't need ideas for that. My dream space would have to include lots and lots of storage for all of my supplies and at least 2 large tables for myself and my best friend to work at together. I would like my table to be a drafters table so I could stand up and work. And the lotto would be nice so I can give up my job and create all day.

Stephanie Medley-Rath

My space would be in a room with windows all around. Ideally, I would have an awesome view to provide continuous inspiration. I would have a workspace that is bar height because I like to stand when scrapbooking. I would have cabinets along one of the walls to store items. I would have a creative corner of the room for my daughter to create her own masterpieces (she's a toddler)...hmmm...not sure what else I would do. I'm a long way from my dream space so I'm sure it will change by the time I reach the point where I can get my dream space. :)

kim smart

i cannot wait to see this issue! i have been bugging my very "handy" husband for a couple of years now to build me some shelves and various other things so i can create in my "perfect" space, ha! i even have certain blogs bookmarked for visual reference! this magazine will definitely get looked at and read well! thanks for the chance at the giveaway!

Tracey Vorpagel

I would love to have a dream space on ground level with room for my friends to come over and crop too!

Lori P

My dream space would be a large bright room filled with things I love. Everything nicely organized, so creating would be a breeze. I am trying to work on stress reduction, so I would want my space to be a relaxing oasis.

Cathy B. of Il

Congrats on your space and you being featured. My dreamspace - a little more organized, with vintage/antique pieces, the room would be brighter, and I would be able to find everything I need without all the searching and digging!

ShellyJ

I can't wait to get my hands on this! I truly love my space I already have... of course more room would be great, but I'll take what I have! It is our "formal" living room space so I am still on the main floor and can still be in the middle of the happenings of the house while i am crafting away :)

Melinda Wilson

My dream scrap space would have so much counter space so I wouldn't have to move things out of the way all the time!

Keshet Shenkar

My dream scrap space is the one I have right now:)

Carolyn

My dream space would be to have a small stand alone building int he backyard, like a large storage shed with windows and electricity. I would have counters all the way around, cabinets and a large pantry for more storage. I would move our large dining room table in there (since we don't use it) so that I can have friends over to crop. I would share the space with my daughter who is an artist. She paints landscapes and portraits and draws. She has sold her art work at local art shows (she is a sophomore in high school. We don't allow her to paint in the house so the poor child goes out to the garage to create. I would love for our art studio to have a small porch where we can have a couple of chairs where she and I can sit and talk or she can take her easel outside to paint if she would like. She and I saw one at Home Depot and have been bugging my husband to get it for us. It also has a loft so that she and I can sleep upstairs if we wanted to (hee hee);)
Thank you for the oppoortunity to win a free copy.
~Carolyn
